About ETNU

Even in the face of this life altering trauma, my mom refused to be defined by her circumstances. Instead, she chose to evolve & transform. Though her world has changed, her determination remained. She welcomed this new version of herself with grace & strength, and in doing so, she gave life to a simple yet powerful phrase “Embrace the New You”. This wasn’t just a phrase, it became her mantra & new approach to the rest of her life! My mom designed a deeply personal tattoo to mark the new chapter in her life – a visual representation of her journey, her guardian angels, and the life she has reclaimed. At the heart of the design are two powerful symbols, and the anchors of her tattoo – a Sun and a Turtle. The Sun and the Turtle are the two symbols that act as a foundational link to every iteration of the “EMBRACE THE NEW YOU – ETNU” emblems. The Sun representing new beginnings, looking at the brighter side of things, positive energy, light, growth, and the endless cycle of renewal, as well as the Turtle symbolizing resilience, perseverance, endurance, & the quiet inner strength it takes to begin again.

Since then, she has crossed paths with countless others navigating their own journeys – and “EMBRACE THE NEW YOU – ETNU” has become a message of hope, strength, positivity & determination for them too. ETNU empowers individuals to welcome change, inspire a positive mind, encourage confidence, overcome obstacles & fears, accept every challenge as a stepping stone toward transformation, and to love and EMBRACE THE NEW YOU – ETNU.
