About ETNU
The ETNU Movement was born from watching my mom survive an almost deadly car accident that left her permanently disabled. She had to learn to walk again, live with ongoing pain, face setbacks and limitations, and rediscover who she was after so much of her life had changed. Through it all, she adopted the mantra and mindset, “Embrace the New You.”

Watching my mom navigate her new reality, I saw that phrase become more than words—it became a way of living. Her journey taught me that embracing a new version of yourself doesn't mean forgetting who you were or pretending the difficult parts didn't happen. It means accepting that life has changed, recognizing who you've become through those experiences, and finding a way to move forward and love your new self.
As I experienced my own challenges and struggles with mental health, I began to understand that philosophy in a very personal way. My mom's mantra became something I carried into my own journey, and over time, I began to see that its message wasn't just for my family—it was something that could speak to anyone navigating change, adversity, loss, growth, or a new chapter.
That is where the idea for Embrace the New You evolved from a personal philosophy into a Movement.
Her mantra became our mission: to give people a place to share their journeys, connect with the experiences of others, find inspiration and encouragement, and take the next step toward their own transformation.
Her strength and determination, combined with my own journey, showed me that none of us are defined by the hardest chapters of our lives. We may not choose the journey we're given, but we can choose how we move forward, who we become, and what we do with the story we've been given.
And sometimes, our story may be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
That belief became the foundation of the ETNU Movement.
The philosophy behind ETNU wasn't only inspired by my mom's words—it was also reflected in a symbol she chose to carry with her.
To honor this new chapter of my mom's life, she designed her very first tattoo—deeply personal and symbolic. Anchoring the design are two powerful symbols: the Sun and the Turtle.
The Sun represents new beginnings, hope, light, growth, and the endless cycle of renewal. The Turtle symbolizes resilience, perseverance, endurance, and the quiet inner strength it takes to begin again—no matter how long the journey.
Those symbols captured what I had watched my mom live.
When I began developing Embrace the New You and the ETNU Movement, I knew I wanted its identity to carry that same meaning. The Sun became the foundation of the ETNU logo, and the Turtle became one of the first symbols represented in the ETNU collection. They weren't chosen simply because they were meaningful designs—they were a continuation of the story that gave birth to the movement.
The Sun reminds us that every day brings the possibility of a new beginning.
The Turtle reminds us that transformation doesn't have to happen quickly—it simply requires the strength and perseverance to keep moving forward.
Together, they represent the heart of ETNU:
No matter your journey—whether shaped by trauma or adversity, a bold new beginning, self-discovery, or the awakening of inner strength—you belong here.
You are part of the ETNU Movement – a Movement created to inspire, empower & unite through the journeys that shape us.
It’s time to Embrace the New You.
